For years, it’s been Tucker at the workbench and me at on the phones. We took in a lot of orders and built quite a backlog.
While a backlog sounds like business insurance, and very few people have canceled orders, people want their holsters sooner rather than later. We want to ship as fast as possible, too.
Recently, we’ve hired help for Tucker and it’s paying off. We’ve cleared out a lot of backlog with the help Tucker has with preparation in the shop, but there’s a lot more to go.
Silent Thunders, Answers and Secret IWB’s are going out in 3-4 weeks. Texas Heritage, Cover Up, Cover Up Plus IWB’s have been backed up but we’re clearing them now so the lead time should shrink to less that two months.
HF1’s, Belts and mag pouches (particularly in sets) whether stamped or unstamped, take longer to make (both labor and dry time). This is where the challenge is because Tucker has to be involved in so many of the steps to completion on these rigs. Having help in the shop with prep work is making a difference.
Stamped rigs are still close to a year’s wait.
Stay tuned for better news soon.

The new Silent Thunder STX is the most concealable Silent Thunder belt holster yet.

1911’s are easy to conceal because they’re relatively thin and flat in profile, but the butt is large and can sometimes “print.”
The STX does a magnificent job of hiding the butt. (Shown above with 4″ 1911)
How?
Silent Thunder STX rotates the butt inwards toward the body and also provides a rock-solid mount close to the body like a leather pancake holster.
Wow! The STX has beta-testers totally impressed!
The Silent Thunder STX conceals a full-size 1911 incredibly well and is comfortable to boot.
The STX has a fixed FBI cant and rides behind your strong side hip. It has two tension screws and it’s leather-lined like all Silent Thunder holsters.
If you like to carry a full-size 1911 – any 1911 – on your belt, you may have just found your holster. (CURRENTLY AVAILABLE ONLY FOR 1911’s)
What’s the DELIVERY TIME?
TWO WEEKS now, but it may be longer once the word gets out.

The Silent Thunder is our most popular holster right now and we’ve increased production capacity to meet the demand.
To celebrate, we’re offering a special purchase from now to the end of November.
Buy two Silent Thunder holsters and the second one is 25% off.
Details:
Order online or by phone and ask for the November Special.
If ordering online, just type “November Special” in the comments section of the order that appears near the end of the ordering process.
Note: I have to manually apply the discount to the order, so you won’t see the discount in your confirmation. The computer doesn’t know how to add the discount automatically.
This means also that a credit card is better than using paypal for this. Paypal takes the money right away and it will take the regular price.
Call me if you have questions or just want to order by phone.
Don’t need two holsters? I’ll bet you have a buddy who might like part of this deal.

Important Note: No hesitating, cogitating, lollygagging or puttering around allowed. We expect a lot of orders, so don’t be a “tail-end Charlie.”
You might end up at the end of the line, waiting longer than you have to if you come in late on this.

The Silent Thunder is hot. To reduce lead times, we added staff in the shop. Despite the number of orders, there’s only a two week wait to ship.

To make sure we keep our new staff busy, we’re offering FREE SHIPPING on Silent Thunder holsters through the end of August.
See what a recent customer told us:
“Rob, I won’t use anything else now! I just finished a four-day training class, with literally hundreds of presentations from the holster. My Silent Thunder held up great, and is the smoothest, fastest holster I’ve ever tried. I saw other guys struggling with their equipment, but I couldn’t have been happier. I’m recommending them to everyone who’ll listen.” Tom.

Before Tucker designed the Texas Heritage he created an IWB design that’s been locked in the gun vault now for years.
It’s “The Secret.”
We’ve heard from customers who don’t tuck in their shirt over their carry gun and don’t need the special features of the Texas Heritage.
Just for them, and maybe for YOU, we’ve brought “The Secret” out of the dark place into the light of day.

The Secret is more compact than the Texas Heritage and has leather belt loops instead of belt clips, but it shares the good parts of the Texas Heritage.
It’s made from Hermann Oak premium leather, it’s comfortable and extremely concealable. It’s also value-priced.
It comes only in natural un-dyed leather, but you can order the belt loops in natural, brown or black to suit the belt you’re wearing. The sweatshield is standard.
Until July 1st, 2009, there’s a special sale price to introduce “The Secret” and a short 2-week turnaround from the time you place your order here.
Don’t wait until the price goes up July 1st.

Here’s a post from the Defensive Carry Forum on the Silent Thunder Champion belt holster with some great pics.
Lead times are shrinking now. Less than a month to ship Silent Thunder holsters.
