New Tucker Gunleather AIWB Holster (Appendix IWB)

Posted by Rob Longenecker on 4th October 2008

Some CCW holders like to carry their IWB holster in front of their hip. Tucker’s Cover Up has worked well for many in the AIWB position because it is so adjustable. Our new AIWB holster is made specifically for wear in front of the hip and will be better suited and more comfortable for this kind of carry.

Currently, we have a contest on Glock Talk (www.glocktalk.com) to name the holster and win any Tucker IWB of your choice. You may want to visit Glock Talk today and enter your suggestion. The contest ends on Saturday, October 11, 2008.

The holster is adjustable for cant and height and has one tenssion screw. Notice the sweatshield behind the back of the slide for comfort.

I look forward to your suggestions and comments. NOTICE: THE DESIGN IS COPYRIGHTED.

Watch us get wet! Hurricane IKE.

Posted by Rob Longenecker on 12th September 2008

Hurricane Ike is heading for Houston and we’re going to be in the middle of it. Most likely we’ll have a complete power outage - maybe for a week or two.

That means no communication. No internet, no cell phone, maybe no phone of any kind. We’ll see. The online store will work OK, but we may not be able to access the orders for a little while.

Shipping will be suspended as well.

Here’s a very good website to track the storm. Note: You can zoom in with controls at the upper left or show forecast tracks at upper right. There are many features on the site that will show windspeeds and other info. Check it out.

    Wish us luck.

    More new guns to come.

Gun makers are bringing out new models faster than ever, and we’re doing our best to keep up.

The Silent Thunder (leather-lined) and Easy Reach kydex holsters are available for these guns with only 3 week turnaround.

**The Silent Thunder (IWB or belt holster) is not only available quickly, but  we recently surveyed all our customers who bought Silent Thunder holsters since they first came out.

Everyone who responded liked the leather lining, saying it’s incredibly smooth on the draw.

98% of those who answered the survey said the Silent Thunder more than met their expectations. In fact, they were overwhelmingly pleased.
