Look inside the insane world of “The Obama Forum.”

Posted by Rob Longenecker on 4th March 2009

Not only are the participants in “The Obama Forum” pro Obama, they are vehemently anti just about everything else. Forum threads include “reparations,” gun control, “don’t tip white waiters,” “it’s our turn now,” “wipe your ass with the constitution,” and list private information about people you know who make statements against Obama (including spouse and parents).

Read the details in this post from the Canada Free Press and go buy some bigger guns.

You will not believe what’s posted on this website. “We’re not in America anymore, Toto!”

Just as a sample, here’s the avatar of one of the pro-Obama posters on that forum:

Why we carry…

Posted by Rob Longenecker on 6th February 2009

I received this in an email today and don’t know the original author. I thought I’d share with you the author’s take on why we carry.

PEOPLE ASK WHY?

My old grandpa said to me son,’ there comes a time in every mans life when he stops bustin’ knuckles and starts bustin’ caps, and usually it’s when he becomes too old to take a whoopin’.

I don’t carry a gun to kill people.
I carry a gun to keep from being killed.

I don’t carry a gun to scare people.
I carry a gun because sometimes this world can be a scary place.

I don’t carry a gun because I’m paranoid.
I carry a gun because there are real threats in the world.

I don’t carry a gun because I’m evil.
I carry a gun because I have lived long enough to see the evil in the world.

I don’t carry a gun because I hate the government.
I carry a gun because I understand the limitations of government.

I don’t carry a gun because I’m angry.
I carry a gun so that I don’t have to spend the rest of my life hating myself for failing to be prepared.

I don’t carry a gun because I want to shoot someone.
I carry a gun because I want to die at a ripe old age in my bed, and not on a sidewalk somewhere tomorrow afternoon.

I don’t carry a gun because I’m a cowboy.
I carry a gun because, when I die and go to heaven, I want to be a cowboy.

I don’t carry a gun to make me feel like a man.
I carry a gun because men know how to take care of themselves and the ones they love.

I don’t carry a gun because I feel inadequate.
I carry a gun because unarmed and facing three armed thugs, I am inadequate.

I don’t carry a gun because I love it.
I carry a gun because I love life and the people who make it meaningful to me.

Police Protection is an oxymoron. Free citizens must protect themselves.
Police do not protect you from crime, they usually just investigate the crime after it happens and then call someone in to clean up the mess.

Personally, I carry a gun because I’m too young to die and too old to take whoopin’.

Will we let Pelosi, Reid and Conyers do this to us?

Posted by Rob Longenecker on 30th January 2009

Are we going to let what happened to the British happen over here? HELL NO!

Check out this video and send it to your friends.

Obama will close Gitmo, but….

Posted by Rob Longenecker on 13th January 2009

Where will the detainees go?

Here’s where 61 of them went after their release – back to being terrorists.

We are about to witness some more tragic buffoonery from the left. I just can’t believe we put the pre-schoolers back in charge of the government.

It’s up to us..

Posted by Rob Longenecker on 11th January 2009

The police are outgunned and can’t be everywhere at once. 911 operators often bungle emergency calls.

We choose to be armed because we just won’t be victims, and soon we may be called upon to save someone elses life if no police resources are nearby.

What’s new? Just that more people are recognizing the need to be armed in the face of what’s happening on the streets.

Here’s an article from the Orlando Sentinal that underlines the need for civilian carry.

What else is new?

Tucker’s new IWB “Half-Tac” holster. It’s a stabilized version of the Cover Up Plus.

We had a request and this is the result. Just another option that may fit your needs.

An Economic Approach for 2009

Posted by Rob Longenecker on 2nd January 2009

I think the stimulus packages will fail in the long term. 2009 will see us all making some important economic adjustments and feeling some pain.

I like this approach to our long-term economic recovery and growth outlined by Stuart Butler, but the “O-man” will do the opposite, I’m afraid.

What do you think?

Strategy of Manufactured Crisis

Posted by Rob Longenecker on 13th December 2008

This article is not for everyone. If you’re an Obama supporter, it will just piss you off. If you are tired of politics and don’t want to get upset again, just ignore this post. If you like short, brief little nuggets of information, this ain’t one of those. This is the whole enchilada, not a few tasty morsels.

I’m watching the direction this country is headed right now and wondering how people actually ignored the facts about the O-man and allowed this to happen. It’s not just him, it’s the whole bunch of leftimaniacs that want to tear down the best parts of this country so they will have more control of our lives. They want to take what’s yours, grab what’s theirs and smash what’s been ours up until now.

If you’ve got the stomach for it, here’s the link.  (Better have a bottle of Pepto handy.)

A fresh view of Rush Limbaugh

Posted by Rob Longenecker on 1st December 2008

I’ve been listening to Rush Limbaugh for many years and sometimes I yell at the guy for what he says, but most of the time I find that he’s right on the mark. He doesn’t just pontificate without evidence. He’s always well-informed and backs up what he says. He pokes fun at “pointy-headed intellectuals” but may, in fact, be an intellectual himself.

Check out this article from American Thinker.

Calls for the “Fairness Doctrine”

Posted by Rob Longenecker on 5th November 2008

The Fairness Doctrine is a  law that demands a “balance” of opinions be presented on public airwaves, primarily effecting talk radio. The Democrats may be pushing for a reinstatement of the Fairness Doctrine in the months ahead. If enacted, it will kill talk radio as we know it.

Here’s what Senator Charles Schumer (no friend of gun owners) said yesterday on Fox News about his desire to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine. Please pay attention to this subject and let your elected representatives know your opinion if this comes up for legislation in the Congress.

Company Memo 10/23/08

Posted by Rob Longenecker on 23rd October 2008

“New Company Memo As of November 5, 2008.”

As of November 5, 2008, when President Obama officially becomes president-elect, our company will instill a few new policies which are in keeping with his new, inspiring issues of change and fairness:

1. All salespeople will be pooling their sales and bonuses into a common pool that will be divided equally between all of you. This will serve to give those of you who are under-achieving a “fair shake”.

2. All low level workers will be pooling their wages, including overtime, into a common pool, dividing it equally amongst you. This will help those who are “too busy for overtime” to reap the rewards from those who have more spare time and can work extra hours.

3. All top management will now be referred to as “the government.” We will not participate in this “pooling” experience because the law doesn’t apply to us.

4. The “government” will give eloquent speeches to all employees every week, encouraging its workers to continue to work hard “for the good of all”.

5. The employees will be thrilled with these new policies because it’s “good to spread the wealth around”. Those of you who have underachieved will finally get an opportunity; those of you who have worked hard and had success will feel more “patriotic”.
