Know any “right wing extremists?”

Posted by Rob Longenecker on 14th April 2009

The Department of Homeland Security is warning against “right wing extremists, especially U.S. Military veterans.

dhslogoThey cite the economic and political situation as causing a rise in anti-government sentiment.  Better watch out for those “extremists.”

They might be gun owners or former military people.

Man, it’s getting very nasty in Washington.

Here’s a link to the story.

Save your brass.

Posted by Rob Longenecker on 18th March 2009

The Obama administration is behind a move to prevent used military brass from reaching reloaders - commercial or individual.

Police departments will be greatly impacted because a lot of remanufactured ammo is used by PD’s for practice; the price will go up and supply will go down.

Same for the average shooter.

In future, any used brass from the military will have to be deformed or crushed to make it useless except for the value of the metal alone.

Here’s more information.

Every day it’s something else from this crowd that makes you determined to throw them out the next election.

I’m so p*ssed I can’t see straight!

Posted by Rob Longenecker on 17th March 2009

How do we get rid of  Obama and his administration? Start to work NOW!

Have you seen this news?

Obama wants veterans to pay for service-connected medical treatment through reimbursing the Veterans Administation from their private insurance!

Here’s the story.

He wants to take money from our veterans to pay for his favorite new programs while saving money on the backs of veterans.

Obama is talking about violating a sacred agreement between our country and service members.

Screw that!

I’m so pissed I can’t see straight!

I don’t care that it’s probably a “trial balloon,” checking for public reaction and will never pass the Congress.

He’s a bait and switch artist.

People thought they were voting for this:

What they got is this:

Look inside the insane world of “The Obama Forum.”

Posted by Rob Longenecker on 4th March 2009

Not only are the participants in “The Obama Forum” pro Obama, they are vehemently anti just about everything else. Forum threads include “reparations,” gun control, “don’t tip white waiters,” “it’s our turn now,” “wipe your ass with the constitution,” and list private information about people you know who make statements against Obama (including spouse and parents).

Read the details in this post from the Canada Free Press and go buy some bigger guns.

You will not believe what’s posted on this website. “We’re not in America anymore, Toto!”

Just as a sample, here’s the avatar of one of the pro-Obama posters on that forum:

Why we carry…

Posted by Rob Longenecker on 6th February 2009

I received this in an email today and don’t know the original author. I thought I’d share with you the author’s take on why we carry.

PEOPLE ASK WHY?

My old grandpa said to me son,’ there comes a time in every mans life when he stops bustin’ knuckles and starts bustin’ caps, and usually it’s when he becomes too old to take a whoopin’.

I don’t carry a gun to kill people.
I carry a gun to keep from being killed.

I don’t carry a gun to scare people.
I carry a gun because sometimes this world can be a scary place.

I don’t carry a gun because I’m paranoid.
I carry a gun because there are real threats in the world.

I don’t carry a gun because I’m evil.
I carry a gun because I have lived long enough to see the evil in the world.

I don’t carry a gun because I hate the government.
I carry a gun because I understand the limitations of government.

I don’t carry a gun because I’m angry.
I carry a gun so that I don’t have to spend the rest of my life hating myself for failing to be prepared.

I don’t carry a gun because I want to shoot someone.
I carry a gun because I want to die at a ripe old age in my bed, and not on a sidewalk somewhere tomorrow afternoon.

I don’t carry a gun because I’m a cowboy.
I carry a gun because, when I die and go to heaven, I want to be a cowboy.

I don’t carry a gun to make me feel like a man.
I carry a gun because men know how to take care of themselves and the ones they love.

I don’t carry a gun because I feel inadequate.
I carry a gun because unarmed and facing three armed thugs, I am inadequate.

I don’t carry a gun because I love it.
I carry a gun because I love life and the people who make it meaningful to me.

Police Protection is an oxymoron. Free citizens must protect themselves.
Police do not protect you from crime, they usually just investigate the crime after it happens and then call someone in to clean up the mess.

Personally, I carry a gun because I’m too young to die and too old to take whoopin’.

Maybe some folks shouldn’t vote.

Posted by Rob Longenecker on 18th October 2008

If a person has no idea what they’re doing, should they vote? See the video.

Maybe some people shouldn’t vote.

It’s been my experience that many people have no idea what/who they are voting for or why.

(I’m not suggesting they be prevented by law.)

What do you think?

Do Facts Matter?

Posted by Rob Longenecker on 4th October 2008

If you’ve been watching the evening news, it looks like the Financial crisis was Bush’s fault, the “fat cat’s” fault, the fault of deregulation.

If you want another take, you may want to see what Thomas Sowell has to say here.

Hush Rush? The left may try.

Posted by Rob Longenecker on 2nd August 2008

Stay alert to democrat attempts to reinstitute the “Fairness Doctrine.” It would cause any opinion on the radio to have to be balanced by an opposing opinion as “equal time.” It would likely drive station managers and producers to steer clear of talk radio and commentators like Rush Limbaugh. Nancy Pelosi has already given notice that she’d like to see the fairness doctrine back in force. Here’s a short article that says more about it.

This is an issue that I will pay attention to and fight against. It’s a first step to “big brother” information management.

Chicago’s Mayor Daly fights 2nd Amendment ruling

Posted by Rob Longenecker on 29th July 2008

Chicago’s Mayor Daley is doing everything he can to get around the Supreme Court’s ruling about an individual’s right to own a gun. He claims that gunowners will shoot first responders, police and firemen, if they own guns and keep them in their houses.

Do your neighbors shoot at police and firemen responding to a call in your town? Parts of Chicago are known for violence and lawlessness, but aren’t there “hot spots” in your town? Daley’s hysterical nonsense sets up certain lawsuits and more controversy.

Details.

Be glad you don’t live in Britain.

Posted by Rob Longenecker on 10th July 2008

Man arrested by British police for defending his home against rock-throwing youths (called “Yobs” in Britain) - with a wooden board. “The police arrived just in time – to arrest Mr Davis for possession of an offensive weapon.” He may face 6 months in jail for defending his property. Are you kidding me?!!!!
