LA Gun Rights Examiner: Sovereignty in 2009.
Posted by Rob Longenecker on March 15th, 2009
John Longenecker (no relation to me) has hit the mark with another great post. We, the citizens of the United States are sovereign; not the government. We are operationally supreme. The Founders declared it so. It’s time we remember and take action. We must be involved in the process of lawmaking.
“The gun is the symbol of independence because it is the lethal force which backs it….Gun-haters are announcing out loud that they hate being responsible for themselves, Independent. They don’t want to be on their own. The independence of others around them irks them, and they operate on the mistaken belief that if we disarm the honest (the easy way out, naturally!) things will fit into place and relieve whatever personal angst drives them to handing their rights over to others. Those ‘others’ are only too glad to aid them politically by making gun bans and regulation supported by gun-haters.”
“Some are terribly frightened of being on their own. The patriotic insist on it.”
