I am an annual member and called Monday and got my son a life membership for $300. I used code W9AVCRDE. I found this offer through the link listed below. The NRA is offering a $300 Lifetime Membership through March 31st. Please call 1-800-672-3888 It seems that it is as easy as calling the NRA and giving them the code W9AVCRDE. This will only work if you are already a member.

I just talked to “Jenny” and was told it is only offered to family members of Life Members. Existing members need to pay the $500 discounted fee.

We have been getting several different stories from the NRA. My apologies if my information was incomplete.

I paid $300 and was not a “family member.” Of course, I haven’t received my upgraded membership yet, so anything could happen.

Hrm. I just called them about this. I was told that existing annual members could upgrade to Life for $500. The $300 was only offered as a way for family members to offer Life memberships to other family members. (and still all part of the through March 31 promotion).

Hrm…. so what’s the secret handshake here?

Diane is doing them now without any problems. Not sure if Andrew has been clued in yet. There are only 2 people in that office that answer the phone.

Confusion at NRA about this……..

“Andrew” says NO and “Diane” is wishywashy about doing this, although she has done some. Either it is in effect or it is not and they need to get everyone that answers the phone to say and do the same thing…..yes or no.

That may be so. When I called up to NRA Membership services, I was told that I couldn’t get the deal without having a Life Member help me.
Maybe they were just easy to deal with, but I called back with Tucker’s life member number and they signed me up.

Either way, get a Life Member to help you get set up and enjoy a great deal.
