Customs agent shoots armed liquor store robber.

Posted by Rob Longenecker on February 3rd, 2009

Good guys 1. Bad guys 0.

This could have been a legally armed concealed carry civilian. When planning a liquor store robbery, you’ve gotta ask, “will I run into good guy with a gun?” The more the perps have to ask that question, the better.

It may be cliche’, but I believe the old adage that, “An armed society is a polite society.”

Maybe the termination of his partner will make the escapee contemplate the error of his ways. Maybe not. Either way, when the bad guy’s initiate the confrontation, this is the outcome I like to see.

With the rapid demise of our economy, it’s a safe bet these situations will escalate.

It’s gonna get a hell of a lot worse before it gets better.
