Watch us get wet! Hurricane IKE.

Posted by Rob Longenecker on September 12th, 2008

Hurricane Ike is heading for Houston and we’re going to be in the middle of it. Most likely we’ll have a complete power outage – maybe for a week or two.

That means no communication. No internet, no cell phone, maybe no phone of any kind. We’ll see. The online store will work OK, but we may not be able to access the orders for a little while.

Shipping will be suspended as well.

Here’s a very good website to track the storm. Note: You can zoom in with controls at the upper left or show forecast tracks at upper right. There are many features on the site that will show windspeeds and other info. Check it out.

Wish us luck.

Rob

Hang in there, Rob! Hopefully you’ll keep your phone/internet access. At the outset, we were supposed to get this one, but he moved to the West instead.

Oh, the joys of living along the Gulf Coast. Never a dull moment.

  2. Bobby Foster (Bluerider) Says:

Rob, I got my power back late yesterday afternoon, 77089. I hope you and WT get yours back soon.
