It may turn out that Barak Obama may be another Emperor with no clothes. Even the “lefty” kids are pointing fingers and daring to say he’s naked. Should we say, “All show and no go?” Barak’s not walking his talk, and people are noticing.
Even Bob Herbert, a lefty columnist in his recent New York Times Column (requires paid membership to read so I didn’t post a link.) is pointing to Obama’s pretense of being a “new politician,” while saying one thing and doing another.
Herbert writes: “Senator Obama is not just tacking gently toward the center. He’s lurching right when it suits him, and he’s zigging with the kind of reckless abandon that’s guaranteed to cause disillusion, if not whiplash.”
“What’s he doing?” is the most common question heard recently from Obama supporters.
“He seems to believe that his shifts and twists and clever panders — as opposed to bold, principled leadership on important matters — will entice large numbers of independent and conservative voters to climb off the fence and run into his yard.
Maybe. But that’s a very dangerous game for a man who first turned voters on by presenting himself as someone who was different, who wouldn’t engage in the terminal emptiness of politics as usual.”
This promises to be an interesting summer in politics.

Celebrate freedom
+++++++++++++++++++
Freedom is the great enabler of opportunity. When you are free to act in accordance with your most treasured values and interests, anything you can imagine is possible.
Essential to freedom is responsibility. It is by accepting and exercising full responsibility over every aspect of your life that you become truly free to live and fulfill your own unique vision.
Freedom carries with it great power. Responsibility keeps that power focused in a positive and productive direction.
Freedom, lovingly tempered with responsibility, has produced many great and wonderful things. Even more wonderful is the fact that freedom’s best rewards are yet to come.
For in freedom there is endless promise. With freedom, the possibilities for goodness and fulfillment are always growing more abundant.
Celebrate freedom and, more importantly, creatively put it to good use in your own special way. With your life, uncover and bring to life some of freedom’s treasures that have never been seen before.

Here’s a recent comment from a guy who’s carried a long time.
“Rob, my Silent Thunder IWB arrived today and I’ve been wearing it since 11 a.m. It is by far the most comfortable holster I’ve ever had.
Concealment is top notch along with the fit and finish. I’m going to recommend this to every one I know. I work in law enforcement here in Illinois where many think guns even in the hands of peace officers is quite shocking when they are off duty, so to me the best features of your holster are comfort and concealment.
Frankly I got tired of eating lunch and being interrupted as I get approached by the local police on high alert because someone called them on me because they saw the outline of my pistol under my shirt. Once I show them my credentials everybody is friends but why go through the hassle? I’m confident that problem will no longer exist with your holster on my hip. Sincerely, Eric.
P.S. It also has the fastest draw I’ve seen as well!”
It’s true. Leather-lined kydex has turned out to be a really great alternative to all-leather and all-kydex. Want something so smooooooth, you’ll be talking about it for weeks? That’s Tucker’s Silent Thunder. It’s patent-pending and Tucker found a way to do it that others have been trying to do for years.

There is a 20-year old global warming conversation that:
1. It is certain that there is global warming and 2. Human activity is the cause.
It ain’t necessarily so. There are circumstances that have been observed and then interpretations added. This article has an interesting take on the ideological, theological and psychological aspect of this conversation. If you are convinced that we’re the cause of terrible global warming and we’ll pay for it soon, don’t bother reading this article. It might cause an aneurism.
