Before we went into Iraq…

Posted by Rob Longenecker on May 29th, 2008

Long before we went into Iraq there was agreement in this country that Saddam was a real threat and that he could not be allowed to continue developing WMD’s. After we went in and found little in the way of WMD’s, most democrats pretended that they had never supported the war in Iraq. The intelligence was flawed, but everyone believed it – not just George Bush.

You might enjoy this video clip of what was said by the dems before the war.

Disclaimer: Video was prepared by the GOP, however, it’s simply clips of Democrats speaking with nothing added.

I don’t think there was general agreement in the U.S. that Saddam was a real threat. Most people just didn’t care to put up much of a fuss thinking it would be a quick romp.
