My son serves in the Oregon National Guard and served in Iraq. The Oregon group was attached to the 1ST.Cav. I feel so proud of my son and all my other sons in his unit and now have part of the proud history of 1ST Cav. Ft. Hood Texas in our family. He has just been told they are going back in 2009. Here we all go again and yes these are hero and lets keep the families in prayer it is a tough deal for all of us. May God bless the troops and keep them safe and home soon.
