It certainly appears that it will solve the two biggest problems with kydex, namely, the inheret finish wear and the obnoxious noise when drawing. While my Answer is nearly silent, this has to do with the leather backing. The full leather lining should make this model totally quiet. For those who care about finish wear, it otta offer the same loving protection as my fully lined HF-1. Very interesting idea, guys.
