New Tucker Product Introduction
Posted by Rob Longenecker on February 3rd, 2008
They said it couldn’t be done, but Tucker has done it and has a *patent pending*.
What? Leather-Lined Kydex IWB’s and Belt Holsters.
Great News: A three to four week turnaround on these new holsters.
Initial Availablity for 1911’s and Glocks ONLY. More guns to follow.
“Silent Thunder” IWB Kydex/Leather
“Silent Thunder” Belt Holster in Kydex/Leather
No more noise when you draw! A real advantage for LEO’s.
Cradle your gun in leather while using a kydex carry holster.
THESE HOLSTERS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE WITHOUT THE LEATHER LINING.
The unlined versions are called “EASY REACH.”
I guess many of you have wanted something like this because we’re getting orders already. Remember, this is only a 3 to 4 week turnaround on these holsters.
These are posted on the Tucker Gunleather website now.
What do you think? I’d like to hear your feedback.

It certainly appears that it will solve the two biggest problems with kydex, namely, the inheret finish wear and the obnoxious noise when drawing. While my Answer is nearly silent, this has to do with the leather backing. The full leather lining should make this model totally quiet. For those who care about finish wear, it otta offer the same loving protection as my fully lined HF-1. Very interesting idea, guys.

I like kydex for training/range use.I’d really like one for my .40 BHP. Any idea if/when you will make them for one?

Yes, we’ll be making these holsters for the BHP. Won’t be long if I have my way.
