Saving Al Gore.

Someone wants to “save Al Gore.”
One of my favorite bloggers, Walter Terry, wants to save Al Gore. It may not be a bad idea, but I don’t have much confidence that it can be done.
If you’re a savvy student of human nature you may have noticed that Al Gore is the poster child for “Pretentious and Sanctimonious Posturing Syndrome.” (Donations accepted at www.pretentiousandsanctimoniousposturingsyndrome.com)
Every since Al decided he wasn’t good enough, he’s been trying to prove to daddy Gore (now deceased, but alive and well in the back of Al’s mind) that he’s really OK and worthy of praise.
The only issue that seemed to give young Al some traction and differentiation was the “Environment Issue” which morphed into the “Global Warming” issue. He’s grasped the issue with the desperation of a drowing man seeking a floatation device.
Someone should warn Al not to swallow this inflated puffery whole. A challenge certainly in order. See Walter’s suggestion here.
