Pardon me.

Posted by Rob Longenecker on July 3rd, 2007

Some are upset with President Bush’s pardon of Scooter Libby. Remember the pardons by Hillary’s hubby during his term of office?

If not, remind yourself of Bill Clinton’s pardon record here.

One Response to “Pardon me.”

  1. Richard Murphy Says:

    Rob,

I’m right with you about the double-standard with those crying about President Bush’s decision, but I also don’t think we should be happy about this decision just because someone else has done it. Either it is right or wrong. Did Scooter Libby lie or not? 30 months sentence isn’t out of the ordinary for perjury and that is exactly what he did. Just because it is on our side, doesn’t mean we should defend it. We must demand truth and integrity from our leaders, Rebuplican or Democrat.

    Richard
