It’s in the details.

I always appreciate the feedback I get from customers – everything from “really pleased with my new leather” to “Awesome, Dude!” to “I don’t know whether to wear it or frame it!”
I note with great appreciation when customers notice and comment on the details that make Tucker’s work so functionally excellent and feature-rich. I received an email this morning with a link to a great new review on the M1911 forum with outstanding pictures to illustrate the comments.
“Rio Vista Slim” points out details in his review worth appreciating for form and function. It begins:
“My Tucker HF1!
I would not presume to challenge Ping Ping or his outstanding review and photos of the Tucker HF1 rig that he received as a Christmas present. His review can be found here.
Consider this an addendum, if you will, to Ping’s excellent Christmas thread. I’m adding a few thoughts about the Tucker HF1 holster that I ordered from Tucker Gunleather in the second week of November of last year.”

What are your favorite details in your Tucker rig?

Ummm… does EVERYTHING count? =D
The list of what I don’t like is just as short… Nothing!!
Seriously though, I am no less elated with my HF1 rig now, than I was the day it arrived. I love the unique look, which has garnered compliments everytime I’ve worn it open. I was recently in Utah and went to a gun shop/range to do some shooting. Of course, I was preening like a debutant in my rig. I called the shop last week to check on something and the owner remembered me as “the guy with that cool rig!”
All told, the fit and finish are the best features for me.

Just a note, for those of you who do not yet know my friend, Steve, “Rio Vista Slim”. This is a humble man who is extraodinarily educated in all things shooting. He is an experienced concealed carry guy and lends himself willingly to helping others who are trying to learn and need to learn from a gifted and compassionate teacher. Steve has been through the fire and resurfaces as an altruistic soul. A truely great man. I respect his perspective and admonish all to allow and see how his vast experience can profit them.
