Vacation’s over……….

Posted by Rob Longenecker on January 11th, 2007

I’ve just returned from the Caribbean – Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Montego Bay and Labadee, Haiti. Great way to clear my head and reset the old computer. I’m ready to go at it once again.

For the record, Tucker’s been at work while I’ve been gone – We know that many of you are waiting for orders placed last year. Tucker’s working extra hours and over the weekends this month to get those orders out.

In Grand Cayman, we were one of seven cruise ships anchored in the bay. It was quite a sight – one worth sharing.

I was aboard Royal Caribbean’s “Freedom of the Seas.” You may have seen their commercial about the ship with the “Flow Rider” surfing apparatus. That’s the ship.

No, I didn’t try it, but it was fun to watch.

Great blog, Rob. Hope you didn’t get too sunburned down in the tropics.

This is just good stuff, very well done.

    Hi Rob,

I just went on my first luxury cruise November 18-15, 2006, on Royal Caribbean’s Jewel of the Seas. We stopped in Puerto Rico, St. Maarten, Antigua, St. Thomas and Nassau.

It was a very nice cruise, but I still prefer bare-boat chartering where you “rent” a small sailboat (32 to 45 foot) and do everything yourself. I used to race Hobie Cats, so sailing a charter boat is easy. It’s just that they’re so slow compared to a Hobie Cat. Fair winds!
