As we watch the Democrats take the House of Representatives and speculate on the direction they will try to lead, my first concern is their weakness in the face of Islamic Radicalism.

With the media doing rectal exams on conservatives, questioning every direction taken in the war against terrorism and the political posturing of the Democrats, I suspect the Republicans will begin to slowly leak testosterone in the battle against the Islamofascists. I hope I’m wrong, but I wonder who will stand for victory in this battle for the survival of our civilization?

I highly recommend Dan Simmons essay on the “Time Traveler.” The Time Traveler appears from the future with news of Eurabia, Islamic conquest and the progress of the “Century War” against radical Islam.

It’s powerful, engaging fiction with warning for us all. I recommend you read it and comment on it. It’s well-written and you’ll find it easy reading.

The threat of Radical Islam is very real. The mainstream media, desiring to be politically correct, has not given us the full picture. The war on terror is an issue that has lost its impact on the American electorate. Recent polls show it way down the list. I think it should be at the top of the list. I want to do something about that.

I believe we’ve just begun to see the impact of Islamofascism upon our way of life. European countries are now regretting the years of Islamic immigration they’ve not only allowed, but encouraged. Muslims in the U.S. are more likely to assimilate and become good citizens, but among them still are those who would destroy us.

There are numerous books to recommend to you. Two very good ones:

This weekend, Fox News has been showing a 1-hour show with excerpts from the movie, ”Obsession, the Movie“. The producers have gathered but a few of many videos of Radical Islamicists condemning us to death in every way possible.

I’ve just ordered the movie after seeing the Fox News report and I encourage you to consider doing so as well if you’re interested in seeing the story first hand.

I believe we need to talk about this to our friends and be informed when we do so. Facts win the day. Emotional rants don’t. Besides being against something here, it’s time to say what we’re “for.”  People will listen more to what we’re for than what we’re against.

I’m for our media to tell the truth about Islamic Radicals and pull no punches. I’m for our elected officials to put the interests of the country ahead of their desire to be re-elected. I’m for our representatives to act now, keep this subject in the forefront of their debate so we can deal with the Islamofascists now, not later. I’ll vote for it, speak for it and stand for it. I welcome your comments and any links to resources and information you may have. This is a conversation worth having.
