Speed’s not necessarily the issue. HAVING the firearm available, in my opinion, is. So you have to fight your shirt to gain access. So what? In the majority of cases, there’s no one armed to begin with. I’d rather have the gun, and have to pull up a shirt than have the gun out in the parking lot stowed in the truck.

Concealed carry, by virtue, is a little inconvenient. But it’s a hell of a lot better than no carry at all. The bad guys have ‘em. And how they carry is of little concern.

This was an excellent articulation of the benefits of a tuckable holster. There are some excellent looking holsters in the article also.
